MOSCOW, Aug 16 (PRIME) -- A third of Russians are ready to spend up to 30,000 rubles on the purchase of a mobile phone, according to a study by Synergy University’s research center seem by PRIME on August 15.
“For 35.9% of Russians, an affordable smartphone price ranges from 15,000 to 30,000 rubles. And 21.4% of the respondents are ready to spend no more than 15,000 rubles and 10.3% up to 90,000 rubles on a mobile phone,” the experts said.
The study showed that for 12.8% of the respondents an affordable price varies from 30,000 to 45,000 rubles.
Almost three quarters of the respondents, or 73.5%, said they dislike the idea of purchasing a smartphone on credit and 87.1% have never bought a used device and do not plan it.
The research was held among 5,000 people across the country in July–August.
